M113 interior colour

Information? Don't have data or paint codes, but if you'd like a couple of hi res pics of the interior of one, I've got 'em. Well "weathered", I might add....

The tread plate is aluminum and the interior was white for early M113s and sea foam green for later M113A1, A2, A3. _________________ RobG

Of these, the back of the driver's seat is the closest to the actual "color" with the minimal of weathering for a VN service vehicle. Everywhere else it was more dirty yellow from dust and what-have-you.... The treadplate Rob refers to can be seen in the last one:

Hi Pascal! Hi Folks!

This is a photo Chuck Sherman took of a M114 at Ft Lewis.

That is sea foam green. During my short time in Vietnam, that is the only color I saw. In fact during my time in the Army (1968-1987), that is the only color I saw on the inside of M113s and M114s. That includes two units which had M-113 mo-gassers. I have seen photos of both with white interiors but I had not layed eyes on one.
