Happy Birthday fellow Jar-Heads! A tad OT.
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Hello Folks!
If my notes are correct, today marks the 231st birthday of the U.S.Marine Corps.

That's 231 years of tradition, unchanged by progess. Rolling Eyes

1964-1968, MOS 6741 Tactical air control. Confused

I'll connect the dots to make it on-topic: the National Museum of the Marine Corps is being dedicated today & opens this weekend for those getting special previews. Unfortunately, that doesnt include me Sad

It opens to the public on Monday, I plan to go next weekend.

Hi Neil! Hi Folks!
Thanks for the link! I like the way they are setting up some of the displays.
I am guessing the gallery set up is not completed yet?

Nothing for WWI? Confused

During my time, the history of WWI was just as important and WWII and Korea.
