What is the LWS? I know the site says that picture is at Aberdeen but if it is it is over 20 years old (The concrete pads were put in in 85-86) I'll admit I don't know what an LWS is and therfor don't know if it was ever at Aberdeen. Sudden flash - is the LWS the German amphibious vehicle similar to the American LVT? _________________ Bob Smart ([email protected])

Landwasserschlepper or something to that effect. It was a large German tracked amphibious vehicle with a boat-like hull.

That vehicle wasn't there on my first trip in 1977 or any later trip or I would have taken a photo of it, so the picture must be older than that Jeff Lewis
