Is it time for the holiday road trip ??
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I'll be heading north to my parents' house on Sunday evening, then back to work on Wednesday. Of course, my vehicle will have a bit more insulation than that one.

Not for me, my parents just retired to Florida so I don't have an old home to go to and my wife is from the area so we just drive the 40 miles to see her folks. _________________ RobG

I will be driving home to SC again for Christmas, then spend a few days in Memphis for the Liberty Bowl, and then back to DC. Wonder if I'll run into any more armored vehicles on the highways this time... Neil

Merry Christmas everybody (GI and civilian, past and present). I have been spending this time with family, loved ones, and friends. and very glad to be doing so. I pray that all of you can do the same. Shawn
