Nice job, always a fan of checkered designs.

Always wanted to know, what's the skinny lowdown on making skins for this sim? Just a brief explanation if ya want...I can take it from there, maybe.....

Stoopy,

I use the 'void' skin in the aircraft folder, make layer masks in Photoshop for the various parts of the plane and it makes repainting easy peasy.

You can use the same template for several planes, just hide the layers you don't want to show and turn the result into an indexed .bmp file.

Ahh! Okay, like making a layered painkit as you would for a FS9 plane you'd repaint a few times.

Indexed BMP - not sure I follow that part but will open a file with Photoshop or DXTBMP and see what it's all about - Thx Kit!!

Nice landrover by the way!

I guess i did it the hard way Mr. Green
i took one of the skins apart and made templetes for PSP.

All i do is open the void in PSP and paste the templets to it and line them up and paint them the color i want then use the layers tool bar on the right to lighten up each layer that i just painted

This are my first templets if anyone wants any of the finshed templets i have i can put them up for download.
