Mark VIII
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Mark VIII “Liberty� at Aberdeen
Here is a question if we put our heads together maybe we can figure it out is this the Mark VIII “Liberty� at Aberdeen on the "Mile of Tanks". I thought it was for a long time but then I decided it was the tank at Fort Meade when it was outside....I'm not really sure

It doesnt look like the Mile, or anwhere on APG I can think of really. I think this is a pic of the Meade Mk VIII when it was outside like you said - I have seen a similar picture...

Do we have any idea when the picture was taken? The paint looks too good to be Aberdeen's Mk VIII anytime in the last couple decades
