BergePanzer IV
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

hello, i know that roughly 36 were built between october and december 1944. does anybody know which units received them? shawn

Panzer Tracts 16 page16-15 21 made from 10/44 to 3/45 4 reported in the army inventory dated 15/1/45, one in 1 Kp/PzJg Abt 510, one in 11 ID, one in 2 SS PzD and one in 212 VgD, plus one on the way to 276VgD Others issued to 4 SS PzgD, 559VgD, an SSPzJgAbt, and 4 KavD plus training grounds at Burg-Mielau-Neuhammer for issue to newly formed PzJdAbt

No, just plans. All conversions on whataver chassis was available. I MIGHT have a photo, but have to dig in the files... Fingers crossed!
