We know how it it is how it can be for the early extinguished threads that criticize, for example, (God forbid) an AvHistory creation or something over at you-know-where. Guy got a job working for an airline, spent 4 hours sitting in the jumpseat in the cockpit on his first flight, and ran to the forum to tell everyone that Flihgt Simming is now officially "lame" and the real thing is much better. Kind of a yawn really.

Well, part-time jobs flying bf-109Â´s are kindaÂ´hard to come by in todayÂ´s competitive market and where else do you get to fly OH-6AÂ´s over the A Shau Valley without actually taking hostile fire? Also, how else would I have gotten to meet so many geeky, but otherwise entertaining and witty folk were it not for the vicarious activity of flight simming? Not to mention the introduction of so many of us to the "clanky thing" side of life provided by the tank fetishists of the AFV forum? Sure, hours spent on autopilot drinking bad coffee at 31,000 feet is entertaining and all, but what if you want a double Jack Daniels and a barrel roll? Try that, Mister high-and-mighty Mohawk Airlines wannabeÂ´! Razz
