I'm back from my adventure in WI. I got back lat Friday night. I learned alot about warewash sanitation (the stuff that keeps ya from getting sick at the restaurant from unclean dishes, glasses, and silverware). Didn't have a lot of time to scout around... studying and all, but of what is saw it is beautiful country. Flying up and back got to see the Mighty Mississippi River and a few barges being pushed to their destinations. Saw the Lake Michigan (Dam thats a big one ) Saw Chicago from the air, O hare International airport (Holy smoke), Planes missing us by mere feet (actually it had to be at least 500', made me want to pull some Gs and go after em...... you don't see em unless you look out the window...Thats my movie) The plains and farms of the Midwest, the forest of Arkansas, Beautiful clouds....they always look better from on top . All and all a great learning experience and anytime I can get some air between me and the ground it's good . But most of all I developed a new respect for my brothers and sisters from up north.

Glad to hear you had a good trip bud! Been flying from Virginia to Texas from one to four times a month now for almost a decade and it's still a window seat for me every time - never get tired of the view. Thunderstorms off to the side at 30 miles away at dusk are awesome, as are the rivers, lakes, and looking for the local airport that's always on the edge of every town. Guess we're charter members of the "cloud appreciation society"
