Merkava in Germany
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Coming week I'am back again in Germany, I will try to get some more information, also if it is in running condition.

The Lešany Military Technical Museum will introduce a unique acquisition - an Israeli Merkava Mk. tank to the public. Acquiring this tank the museum became the only place in the world - naturally outside Israel - to boast a fully working example of this weapon. Since the 1980s Saumur in France has had one of these tanks in its collection, but it is a mere exhibit without the engine and gearbox.

According to this site (http://www.rommelkiste.de/wasneu.html) the Munster Merkava is also in drivable (sp?) condition.
