Armor Museums/Displays in Poland
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Question for the commitee:

This was at the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw. Looks a little different to me...is it a DUKW lend-lease, a clone, or a different design altogether that just bears a startling resemblance?

I am pretty certain the Russians made DUKW clones, although I dont know I could tell the difference...

I believe the Soviet DUKW clones had a tailgate and looking at the picture there appears to be one. I don't think there is a tailgate on a standard DUKW. And don't ask me how I know about the tailgate. The text in one of those books with color plates from a library a long time ago.

It appears they moved the Hetzer from the front yard.
