I'm going to have to pull my suit out of the closet for the first time in maybe 5 years for some of the events connected with my daughters wedding next month. Then hopefully it will go back in the closet for another 5 years

Its a 'tanker' thing....

Is it because you see your entire life passing before your eyes as Patton Museum Curator Charlie Lemons drives?

The driver in the photo is not Mr. Lemons, but one of our 'senior' volunteers (as in length of participation in the Volunteer Program...). The two of us typically crew the Sheridan whenever it is used in a demonstration or exhibit.

The PMV program tries to stabilize the operators of the various operational vehicles thus insuring qualified & experienced personnel fill key positions.

Thanks for the tour offer, Don, much appreciated! I'd love to see the inside of the Richardson Motor Park next time.

Of course there is the occasional one who was expecting the 'Dontos Nickel Tour' only to have him pulled away to train reservists at Camp Shelby Confused
