I watched the ABC (Govt funded) news last night and the newsreader referred to an armoured personnel carrier 'which is a tank-like vehicle'.

One one of the commercial channels, they cut in footage of the M60 on the freeway from several years ago. That was more spectacular viewing than the travelling rather sedately between telecom towers.

I imagine it would be a fairly expensive operation to import an FV432. You'd think the owner would take more care to secure it.

According to one report I saw the owner reckoned the 'pimped' FV432 was worth $1,000,000 AUS (which is about Â£450,000) and uninsured!

Not sure of the figures, but it sounds a bit high.
