1:2.5 scale driveable Sherman M4A1 and how-to.
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Imagine explaining to the wife that the lawn mower will no longer cut grass but also take up twice the room in the garage it once did! Laughing

...for your next project...

Driveable model fibreglass Sherman.

I was previously given this link in You Tube. There is a compltete series on how he built it.

I am quite interested in the hull molding, where & at what cost.

I have several candidates for the powerplant (two old broke down riding mowers in the back of the garage...!!)

The wife actually thought it was 'Cool'. Damn I love her....!!! Mr. Green

Hmmmm future project in the making???

Stay tuned
Don

But shouldn't yours be a replica Ontos? or maybe an M-1?
