What British tank used the 95mm howitzer?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: What British tank used the 95mm howitzer?

I recently received a British 95mm howitzer tank sight made in 1956 and was wondering what vehicle used it. Can anybody help?

The Centaur IV did (that's a WW2 tank based on a Cromwell)

Thanks, I just thought it was strange to have a 1956 date.

The sights are about 18 inches long, about 14 inches of it are about 2 inches wide, the remaining 4 inches are 2 and 3 quarters wide. The writting says TEL. STG. No.48x3L TPL.Mk1/1 NoT.794 1956 . It also has a marking of a Large R with a small L under it. It is a dark green color.
