Hello all,
I know this site is mainly the boys who play with the big toys, but I also see a few familar names from the model sites. Just wanted to pimp our new model site, www.kcamps.org . I'm trying to focus it on post `45 armor, I'm so sick of the Krappenpanzers that most modellers get wraped up in. Besides model albums, I'm trying to post up reference albums of the real deal. I've already had some help on that from here, a big thanks to Doug K.. If you get the time, drop by, see what you think, let me know. If you'd like to post any pics in the reference albums, just register, and you can up load them or contat me and I will. I used to walk the walk, having retired, as a 19K. Man, the last 5 years of your career is not the time to become a tanker, but then no one said I was too bright. I ended up with the trifecta of combat arms, I was a 11C, 13F&E, and 19K. Well Jens, as you've seen me bark at other people for not doing their homework elsewhere, or for being too lazy to do it, no....nowhere is safe. I'm everywhere. The hunt for knowledge is a full time job. Just wish it paid better. I like the cranky types, being one myself. Thanks for the recomendation.

No argument from me there, my man, I always feel a discussion group or forum should be the last place to turn for information, after you've exhausted other avenues of approach- with the possible exception of first-hand accounts or truly obscure bits of information not covered in literature or the internet.

Plus, the fruits of one's own research are so sweet and pleasing... Smile
