Speaking of Aberdeen...
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Here's a page with a lot of detail shots of vehicles of Aberdeen. Organized by country: (see bottom of page)
Obviously, he didn't get the benefit of a "Bob Smart Special"...it's the main grounds only.

Pretty good pictures but his tank identification is a little off (British Chieftan IDed as a Conquerer, a Pz III as a Pz IV, etc) But I was astounded at how much he is asking for pictures!!!!

Oh I also talked to Ed Heasley on Friday. All the tanks near the main gate have been moved. They are back on pads near the museum. The 3" AT gun we saw the crew working on in the refurb shop a week ago is now in front of the museum.

*Imagine that, who could make such a silly mistake? Rolling Eyes

Yes, I noticed the prices. If anyone wants any of mine in high res (I downsized by a factor of four or so), I'll undersell him by a third! Mr. Green

You mean ALL the tanks that were lined up on the right where we came in when it was foggy have been moved?! Wow...fast work.

If you have a chance there is a decent military museum at Buffalo NY (not far from Niagra Falls) mainly naval stuff including a Light cruiser converted into a Guided Missle cruiser (USS Little Rock) and a Fletcher class DD (USS The Sullivans)
