Post subject: The kinder side of Microsoft

Just picked up a copy of Office Standard 2007 at the local PX today on base. Was scared to have to go in and buy this $300 software! However, once I got there I was suprised as all hell to see it on sale for $79!! They apparently have made a deal to sell the Military, retirees and dependents a copy for this sweet special price! Since I use these programs at work for Uncle Sam, kind of was a no brainer (or lack of alternatives) to pick it up!

We'll see how long this lasts after they pay off all their lawsuits and realize how bad off they really are!
