Ubisoft issued a out a press release announcing Tom Clancy's Air Combat, the newest addition to Tom Clancy franchise. The game is currently in development at Ubisoft's Bucharest studio for consoles and PC. The game will be released in 2008.

Set in the near future, the game imagines a world where a private military force has accumulated such power that it attacks the USA. Thrust into the cockpits of incredibly powerful and technologically advanced jet fighters, gamers will benefit from hi-tech piloting assistance, providing comfort, security and enhanced perception. As players gain skills and confidence, they will be able to shed the assistance. But before choosing performance over security, they'll have to weigh the risks carefully

Rumor has it that one of the mission scenarios involves a raid by the forces of SPECTRE on the JG300 Private Reserve brewery at Mountain Lake with concurrent strikes at Headquarters at the Pig Sty....all developed in consultation with technical advice from gen-u-ine Wilde Sau's and some unauthorized input from former members...but NDA's prevent me from saying anything more....
