Was the new movie a worthy representation of the radio show? I would love to hear from some other people on this topic. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, go check it out. The movie, being a movie, had to give the story a beginning, middle, and end. which is more than can be said for the wonderful radio show about a couple of guys meandering around the galaxy.

For anyone who has seen it, did you like it? How do you think it compared to the BBC radio series?

Just looking for an argument here... Mr. Green

Saw last nite...even wife (who doesn't care for fantasy/sci fi) enjoyed it (and she is unfamiliar with Hitchiker's Guide...so, No Baggage)

I read and loved the trilogy many moons ago...

Looking forward to the movie. Looking for some feedback from anyone that read the books. I never even knew there was a radio show! LOL

ok, ok, so are we talking about hitch-hikers guide to the galaxy or monty python here? Mr. Green

The TV series followed the radio show very closely, more so than the movie.

Monty Python's...Know what I mean...nudge, nudge. Wink, wink...

Sorry...

I religiously watched the TV series of HHGTTG, though it was excellent, I'm a bit reluctant to watch the film as an obvious comparison will be made to the TV show.

Arthur Dent by the way, was my Uncle Smile (Well maybe in another lifetime)
(Y'all probably won't understand the above statement but i have my wife convinced Mr. Green )

Just remember the answer is 42 and DON'T PANIC

Well Kit, grab the radio show, keep it in your car or somthing, and listen to it when ever you can! if you liked the shows the radio show should work for you!.,.. but see the movie! it wasnt bad, the story was changed quite a bit, but it was still fun to watch.
