Turkish M60
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Headed to fight the kurds.

A military truck carries a tank toward Sirnak, with Cudi Mount seen background, near the Turkey-Iraq border, Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, two days after Kurdish rebels killed 15 Turkish soldiers at the Turkey-Iraq border.

Always nice to see an M60A3 that's not a static display.

Thanks Mark,

What happens if our Turkish allies go to war with our Kurdish allies?

That sort of question, while interesting, is beyond the scope of this forum and generally best left alone. Wink

I sincerely apologize if I ruffled any feathers.

You didn't and no apology is necessary. Discussions of that type are just somewhere that, by convention, we find it's best "not to go" at Com-Central. Not the focus of the AFV forum anyway and a type of discussion best reserved for other sites. No harm done.

I have a chance to get some good video of M60A3's in action and possibly see some of the newer mods carried out if the press get's coverage.

Hopefully it won't happen Neutral , I like both sides, so like Mark said "Go Condi!!!"
