Lot's of eyecandy enhancing stuff around, but for gaming that's the first thing I get rid off, as those are just the things that eat up your resources so much searched after for your game puter.

Yep, I've done the same "Vista'izing" to some XP machines. There's a new Linux OS based off a Red Hat version called Fedora. Free to download and install and works like any other version of RedHat or Mandrake Linux.

I've downloaded this and booted up a machine with it and it works fine. BTW, the download for this is a Live CD meaning you can boot up your computer and check out the OS without installing it. Wink
