The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Today received some serial and registrationnumbers from a collegue (N.Quist) who was in Norway last week.

Camp Rena
Leopard 1A1/A5NO s/n 6223
M24 Chaffee, no s/n or r/n
NM116, locally modified Chaffee r/n 97679
M48A5 Patton r/n 97553
NM135, locally modified M113 with 20mm gun and turret
PzKpfw III
H-38
T-34/85, taken from Bosnia Hercegovina according to the local tankers
White M3A1

Oslo museum
Leopard 1A1/A5NO s/n 7203, r/n -
M24 Chaffee
M48 Patton

He didn't know what subtype of Leopard 1 it was. He will bring some photo's to work so maybe next week I'have a little more info.
