Has anyone thought about making a sticky for the Museums? Maybe each of the large museums having a thread of its own. The Warbirds people do this with different airplanes like a P-38 thread. Maybe we could have a Fort Knox, Bovington, Kubinka, IWM, Saumur an some of the others. I notice most everything we post sorta disappears. Just a thought and I don't have any idea how stickys are made or if that would mean a lot for someone. and yes it would be a killer for the dailup people....

Actually, everything we post pretty much stays in perpetuity since we don't "prune" our threads. You might have to go looking for it, but you can either bookmark threads of interest, or we do have a "search" function. Nothing of signifcance ever "disappears", it just falls behind several pages if it doesn't get any new posts. Those who've posted pics in them might, however, choose to take those pics down if they've posted in an online hosting service at some point.

The problem with making lots of "sticky" threads (a Moderator tool) is that more than a few makes important topics less likely to be read and easy to miss...leads to "clutter". For "lists" and such, we suggest downloads, which we provide for.
