The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

It's the design of Maryland's state flag, one of the nicest ones in the Union, IMHO.

It's the design of Maryland's state flag, one of the nicest ones in the Union, IMHO.

And one of the most distinctive

Also Maryland specifies the ornament that tops the flagpole that the flag is flown from. The Maryland Flag Protocol specifies a 'Gold Cross Bottony' as the only proper ornamentation for a Flagstaff with the Maryland Flag
