Kugelblitz ... "somewhere in Europe"
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Kugelblitz ... "somewhere in Europe"

Hello,

One can think that there is only 1 Kugelblitz turret still surviving in Rendsburg, Germany. Yesterday, I got a mail from a friend I got a mail from a friend with these photos (sorry for the poor quality). It appears that there is at least another Kugelblitz turret structure still surviving in Europe. As soon as I get more information, I'll let you know.

The one at Rendsburg for comparison :

Hello Pierre-Olivier,

I bought the interesting book "Nuts & Bolts volume 25 Flakpanzer IV" with some unknown (for me) pictures of the Kugelblitz-turret-parts that were found in 1999. The remains have prusumably been transported to Dresden.

Regards,
Wim.
