Extensive collection of WWII vehicle drawings, in color
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Interesting site with nice drawings of WWII vehicles (and guns, planes, weapons, etc.) IN COLOR of many nations, free! Good assortment. Just in time for the holidays!

Wow, that's some site! They even had four variations of Halftrack Mortar Carriers. I like the Harley WLA also. It is now saved to my "favorites" for future reference. Good find Doug.

I picked up both WWII German books & the US book from Barnes & Noble, back in March/April. Excellent reference material.

If I could only convince him to finish one little thing,.....

On the shelves in the War History section. Don't look for a lot of order...I found that the stocking was not so much by period as by book dimensions..some WWII stuff and even Vietnam and general weapons had spilled over to the Civil War section because of space and stock issues...and this was a big store. Be prepared to look around. Wink

I know where the 'War History' stuff is in my local store. Mine actually does a pretty good job of keeping it in General periods within that section

Maybe it was just a Christmas Season overstock phenom...the shelves in mine were about to 'splode, which was nice at least. Mr. Green
