Hey everyone,
I know that I've seen somewhere in the forum for a utility that will remove all traces of files.
Ok what I got going is, First example is removing AVG from my computer. I went to the normal place of add or remove and there is still traces of it running in the background. So I go and hunt down the folder and it wont let me delete it! There is a couple of programs like this and all wont let me delete the folders. One or two wont let me remove them from the "add and remove" either?

Nothing a GOOD RegCleaner wouldn't solve

go to www.regvac.com and download the RegVac trail version, it will work for a 30 day period, set it to novice mode and should do the trick for you Wink

Those types of programs 'run' in the background and must be turned off prior to using the uninstall features.

Do this: Start/Run/ and type in MSCONFIG

On the startup tab, look for references to the program you want to uninstall and untick the box. This startup tab is clean on a first time windows install and anything you see in the box in running in memory when you start your computer. Be careful while you're in there. Wink

Restart your computer and try removing the program again. Smile

Run your Reg Cleaner as Fled suggested after that and you should be good to go...
