Yup, one of the strongest films I've seen in a long time. I felt ill for the rest of the night after watching it.

Yup, one of the strongest films I've seen in a long time. I felt ill for the rest of the night after watching it.

Corinna Harfouch's performance as Magda Goebbels likely contributed to that chilling effect. It took a lot of guts as an actor to crank that one out...one of the creepiest things I've ever seen on film.

I got a lot more out of the film for having recently read Anthony Beevor's "Berlin-1945" prior to, which was just a coincidence.

Bruno Ganz was even better than Alec Guiness in "The Last Ten Days", IMO. Alternately charming and psychotic.
