More WWI era artillery for Armyjunk2
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

ArmyJunk mentioned on the WarBirds site that he's off to the Philippines for a while. I hope he brings back lots of photos!

I'm still here and thanks for the photographs, I will leave Monday for the Philippines and Guam, looking for prewar navy tunnels in the Philippines and a tank...just wandering around on Guam.

Oooh... There's also lots of coastal defense fortifications you could check out in the Philippines. And Fort Drum... Although I am told you have to watch out for pirates (literally) if you try to go to Fort Drum...

I hope you've checked out Pierre-Olivier's guides for Japanese tanks, I bet there's a few there too...

Oops, my mistake! I meant Trevor Larkum's Preserved Japanese Tanks pdf - which you can download from his Armour Archive site:
www.armourarchive.co.uk/pjt.htm - although I am somewhat surprised to find no Japanese tanks listed in the Philippines.

Have fun and take pictures. I'm interested in coast defence equipment and installations so hopefully you'll show us some of them when you get back

I've seen 12 AFV's in the Philippines so far and I will post some pics later if I remember.... I have a pretty complete thing done on the surviving Japanese tanks maybe Pierre can post it sometime in the future.
