LAV-300 gets WGTi mods
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

We have just taken delivery of this Cadillac LAV-300 from a local agency, and would like to share the project with the group. (in the group picture, the V100 to the right is ours)

Yes, it belongs to a local agency. Most of the work we are doing is cosmetics. They have their fleet guys doing the drive train and breaching tools. But it is neat to have on the property Razz

Here is some progress on the LAV300. We are looking into installing the blue/white LEDs now. Most of the hardware was replaced with stainless steel.
