Some Kind of Stug?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Any idea what this may be. Got it off of AHF forum, with no other picture or identification.

(I edited this post and put the pic on another site!)

It's a Stug replica, probably based on a FV-432 APC.

Looking to the tracks, I agree with Rikard. The FV-432 APC is probably the vehicle wich is the cheapest and the easiest to find and to modify into a StuG repro..

Got this from a friend who is knowledgable of the German Reenactment groups and their equipment.

"...ONE OF THE 1ST SS GUYS WAS WORKING ON ONE AND THE 2ND PNZ OUT OF CHICAGO, MAY HAVE ONE AS WELL."

More if I hear anything

Note that the hull was lengthened, there is 1 more wheel than on normal FV 432s. Recently, a StuG repro which can be indeed this one was for sale on a website (maybe Milweb..I can't remember).
EDIT : The one I have seen for sale on Milweb was not this one, it had only 5 road wheels.
