The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I ran across this yesterday, thought it might tweek some interest. This is not the entire page, only the hull images. I'm trying to locate the accompanying turret data sheet that was with this. More to follow when I locate them. Don

I seem to recall that from the one that sits over by the airport (here in the Twin Cities, at the Fort Snelling Military Museum). ??? I'm seeing a regular M48A5 hull with T142 track . . . ready for modification to DIVAD, perhaps? Mark

I agree. The rear is wrong. Looks like an M48A5 tank hull to me. Most of the M48A5 tanks we had at Fort Irwin had T142.
