I mean, I'm talkin' about ... WOW!!!

Gotta be THE Numero Uno most gorgeous thing I've ever laid eyes on!

Flies like you'd imagine the real thing would too...squirelly, twitchy, wobbly, no trim, handful in about any maneuver....gyroscopic procession comin' out the ying-yang......LOVE it......

GORGEOUS detail!

HUGE download...like 100-and-some-odd MB! But I tell ya what it was worth it!!!!

Comes with some pretty schnarky custom scenery for it as well. Choice.

Source seems to be at the link below (reminds me of the Ju-52 and Buecker Jungmann that have their own dedicated wesbite).....

http://www.neoqb.com/fokker/]neoqb Fokker Dr.1 site <-- Click now!

The drawing on the website doesn't do it justice....therefor, here are the obligatory screenies of a proper "Dawn Patrol" break-in flight.....

I'm pretty sure this is why they invented the word "Majestic"!

Man I'm glad ya's responded becuase I was beginnign to think I'd posted too many screenshots...maybe I did....but I can't help it!

After doing a little formation work in FS-Recorder I think I've found Nirvana....or maybe Valhalla is a better word......

Keepin' these puppies lined up on each other while they're wigglin' and topplin' around is a chore and a hoot at the same time....real stick and rudder stuff here, gents (bootfulls of rudder, to be exact).....

Anyways even though I should have had the yellow-tail as the lead and maybe used an echelon formation than a "Vee" I couldn't resist this....hopefully worth the load times.....

Thank'ee!

Actually I did another formation flight, this time with 4 of 'em, and took another set of screenies (well, okay, about 50)......culled those down to about 18 "keepers" but they were also pretty large since I fly at 1600x1200.....reducing them to 800x600 was almost a sin....

So I reduced them to 1024x768 and uploaded 'em to Photobucket (which now accepts that size). Then I wanted to post 'em somewhere were they'd stay that resolution and not be reduced to 800x600....plus I figured maybe y'all were getting tired of the excessive screenshots...so I put 'em here:

forums.avsim.net/dcboa...&mode=full

Of course a moderator came along and culled it down to 10 because I didn't read there was a 10-picture limit...so again this is a small subset.

Anyway if it weren't for such checks-and-balances I'd be making sure the Internet is awash in huge screenies of glorious colorful Triplanes... Wink
