The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I like this one! It had me LOL! I was thinking it needed a WIDE LOAD warning sign on the front. I guess I have been a civilain to long.

My son is back from the sandbox after a 7 1/2 month tour.

7 1/2 month tour? Is that normal or didn't something happien to him?
If normal and his is OK, Good news!

The Canadians are working on six month tours, so my son's platoon was there for a slightly longer stay. They deployed early so they could work with the old roto to learn convoy routes etc. before the main body arrivied.
