Does anyone have any idea what this might be?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Does anyone have any idea what this might be? I found it at a Army Proving Ground. I have no idea, but they had a lot of Powder around...

That wouldn't be a welding clamp? I've seen a few pics from that era and those look like the same thing they used.

Just a thought (and a wild guess).

blanket clamp pin www.aplussafety.net/pr...ankets.cfm halfway down page. Blanket Clamp Pins can be effectively used to hold insulating rubber blankets in place. used on high power cables etc Smile
