Archer SPG Firing film/Video?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Archer SPG Firing film/Video?
I guess its 'stupid question time' but I was wondering if anyone knew of film/video of the Archer SPG (Valentine Tank Hull converted to an SPG with 17 Pounder gun goodness) in firing mode. Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Regards, MK

Sorry for the late response, I've been away for a while. The only thing I've heard is that the Archer was notorious, in that the driver had to be out of his seat during firing or the gun would take his head off. I'm not aware of any video of it.
