I figured this might be a good place to spread the word.

On May 12 - 16 2008 There will be a function in the Ft Knox area.

A Reunion of sorts, called the 'Ontos Family Gathering'. I am honored to have been requested to assist Ontos Marines, in organizing a function here, so that they can see the Area, the Patton Museum, the ONLY Fully Operational M50A1 Ontos.

The primary organizer would like to include anyone associated with the Ontos whether Civilian, Army, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard,....and of course The USMC.

Its a shame our state Marine Corp League isn't until June. I know of three former Ontos crewmen who should be there. I will have to make flyers of these patches! I will try and contact them this week.

You've been a bunch of help already.

The design has a little history to it, that links back to Tet 68. I got the design idea from the image off of the back of an Ontos Marines Flak jacket.

I would like to find out the individual or additional images, but so far no luck there.

I'll find the photo, and post it here later
