Special load for Neil : ARL-44 at Mourmelon-le-Grand
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

ARL-44 at Mourmelon

Neil, I know you like that kind of post-1945 heavy tanks. I was able to take some shots from this one at Mourmelon, last Sunday. I have other detail shots of this one (upper part of the turret and rear deck) and I'll publish them on the web soon.

Well, I always believed that there were only 2 ARL-44s that survived until today, and I was wrong. There is a third ARL-44 on a French Army base at Fontevraud, near Saumur :
