The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I suspect thats an electrical power outlet. It can generate 420 kW. Abrams & Bradley generate in the 10s of kWs BTW... Neil

sure is ugly! is that an opening under the gun assy when the barrel is elevated?

They left a cover (obviously needed for overpressure protection, etc) off so you could see the autoloader tracks & breech. Neil
