The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Visited today the museum "Bevrijdende Vleugels'' in Best near Eindhoven.

In the past they had two M4A1s and also a M47 but unfortunately one of the Shermans is gone and the M47 is sold according to an employee. Reason was that they only collected WW 2 material.

What the Swiss Panzer is doing there all those years....

Serial for the Panzer 61 is 971 6545 620 and registration is 77620

Serial for the M4 is (if I have the correct number) 7840. I found it on the left side on the back where the enginecompartment is.






They have two of this type of gun








The serialnumber??







There was another M3 half-track, and the T-34/85, but it was to dark for the little flashlight on the camera.
