Well done Sir! Welcome to the other side. I have been retired sense 1987 and I still miss it sometimes.

I was driving around Ft. Bliss yesterday and had a 'kid in a candy store' moment. Found a freshly painted M2A0 or M2A1 that I can get close to and take all the pictures I want! Ended up talking with a young 13F who is a member of the 5th BCT of the 1st AD.

Happy wife, happy life.

Yup, had a leaving the service moment years ago. I had had so much fun and job satisfaction that I didn't want to unpack my rucksack. The tradeoff for a little while was to keep it repacked with other outdoor gear for 'those long quiet walks in the woods' I used to do for recreation.
