When I try to go to the main site, "WWW.AFVNEWS.CA", I get the following message:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

It also says its a 403 forbidden. This just started yesterday. Anyone else having this problem?

Editted: OK, tried it, doesn't work for me, either. Same message.

Doug, actually Tanklord isnt talking about com-central. Its afvnews.ca that is down...

I just sent George an email, checking to see if he is okay. I sent him something in the mail 2 weeks ago, and no response to it has me a little worried. I wish I had his phone number.

George just replied. Yes he did shut down the site at "www.afvnews.ca" but he has moved a lot of it to this site here at geocities. New AFV News site

It was a matter of economics. The new site is free as long as he stays within bandwidth limits.

He also said that he would have posted it here, but for some reason he is restricted from entering Com-Central. He hasn't been able to view this site for a month. One of you moderators may want to check into that. I know he doesn't post much, but when he does, its always a gem!

Any chance he has a "Gaming Site" filter in his way?

That's why I can no longer vist AFV News while at work.

George has my email, wish he'd let know he was having a problem with access to DG. I'm wondering about game filter also.

Thanks for the reminder about George's site. I had sort of ignored that page after the old forum got spam-bombed. The bookmark for this page will be New AFV News, and the first page as New Old AFV News.
