The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Taranov, what is the small artillery piece being towed in the third picture? Thats the second one I have seen and frankly I'm not familiar with it. Neil

That is 2B9 (to be read as 2V9) Vasiljok 82 mm automatic mortar. Rate of fire 40-60 rounds p.min., 4 rounds "mag" fired in 2 (tac-tac-tac-tac) sec. Able to engage targets by direct/undirect fire.
