Post subject: IL2 WEC!

WEC (Weekend Challenge) has at last come to the IL2 community. This is purely dog-fighting tournament which runs three times a year. It starts with a league that runs over 6 weekends followed by playoffs of the top eight Squadrons which is a straight knockout competition.

The match format is an engagement that lasts for 30 minutes and these are based on three different maps, a land, an island and a carrier scenario. Each team must field at least two players for the league rounds and three or more for the playoffs.

The next tournament rounds start on the 2nd of September 2005 and here are the links to the WEC pages for those wishing further details.
