I was still in the "federal employ", but stateside by that year. I totally do not recall ever hearing this before.

That keyboard player looks like he's pounding one out...play with audio down and see what I mean. Shocked

But, but.....the lady said, "musically they're one of the most together and exciting groups going"....but then again I didn't hear of 'em until 1979 and it was more of a novelty hit than anything else...although they are TIGHT.

Saw what ya meant....I turned down the volume.....and then wished I hadn't! Laughing

I have the original vynyl album somewhere (think it may be in my loft now), which I only bought for this track.
The song is "Hocus Pocus" by Focus.
Have a feeling that may be the album title as well.
Love the sideburns.

Still have my burst Les Paul Standard flame Bushy. Mr. Green
Just saw a better top (AA), but they wanted £1600.00 for it, brand new (proper money, none of this "dollars and cents" stuff).
It didn't sound, or feel, as good as mine but I'm still thinking about it, just for the top.
Looked more like one of the tops you'd see on a 'Classic' a few years ago.
£1600.00 may sound like a lot but the top is so good, a few months ago (before the credit crunch), I would've been able to re-sell it straight away for at least another grand on top.
Very rare to find this quality top on a 'Standard'.
Especially outside the U.S.A. (you sob's keep all the best ones for yourselves!).

Focus is a Dutch alternative rock group from back in the seventies,

must admit I have all the albums and had the pleasur of seeing them multiple times live.

unfortunatly this clip is a bit the over the top version of "Hocus Pocus" that is the tempo is a wee bit higher as the "original" version.

they are still around not the same crew, but here you can have a peek at what they are up to today

That's where I heard it from, it was Fled and Shades...lol

Shades, my LP standard got 'borrowed' (along with the Gibson Houndstooth amp) and I never seen either of them again. I suspect someone is having fun with them..(I can hope anyway...lol )

You can always pick that AA guitar up and let us US guys look 'er over for flaws. Wink I promise to send it back at some point in the future...lol

SOOOOOOOBBBBB!!!!
Hope you get your hands around the guy's throat one day.

I wanna get over to Nashville and have the guys in the factory look over how I set it up now and see what they think of it and whether I could do anything else to improve it.
Only thing I think might work is having the inlays from a Custom worked into my Standard fretboard.
But, "If it ain't broke...".
