model T-62 I saw
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Submillimeter radar targets in 1/16th Scale. I contacted them at one time and asked about what it costs to build an M113 like that....

DEEP into five figures. All materials employed are "correct".

That looks like the work of master modeler Talal Chouman (or something like that). He worked for the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. He would come to my motor pool at Ft. Devens to take measurements of vehicles so he could re-create radar models.

A really nice guy, I spent time with him back in 2003-04 in Mass.

I remember his crew crawling over my vehicles (they were his students, grad?). he explained that where the vehicle was aluminum, had to be aluminum, rubber, steel, etc. Very thorough guy.
