APG #2 - M26A1 Dragon Wagon, T25E1 medium tanks
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

That poor thing looks like it rolled or tried to go under to low a bridge.

How do you manage to do that in a museum environment ???

On the left side of the T25E1 the roadwheels are almost touching the support rollers. Must have a few busted torsion bars.

For one, its been in neglected storage (almost certainly outdoors) for quite some time - decades most likely. Who knows what may have bumped into it etc while it was behind the fence in the testing area.

Secondly, I'd have to check the old photos, but it may have been like that since it was handed over to the museum - could well have happened while it was being tested 60 years ago...
