APG #5 - T69 & T54E1 prototype tanks...
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I havent been able to get good shots of these tanks since they were formerly all parked together over near the warehouse. So the move enabled me to get some decent pics of these two tanks with oscillating turrets... T69 medium tank prototype - 90mm gun T54E1 medium tank - 120mm gun on an M48 Patton chassis... The old Mile sorta together again (mostly)... Neil

Hi Neil where did they move them to since they arn't near the warehouse? is there public access or are you relying on your letter and good luck? Piney

Much of the latter... Its still on the public part of the base, but very close to not being on the public part of the base... Neil
