The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I have reported the Nebraska Shermans that I know of to the Forum.

I am not good at finding serial numbers and had no luck when I was photographing this vehicle, and the others. The M4A1E8 in Auburn, NE was repainted several years ago by a local auto body shop. The gentleman I sopke to had no idea where they got the registration number from so I have no idea if it's authentic to this tank.

Before its repainting one could read the unit codes through the last layer of paint = 34- 134-I-TKxx - 34th Infantry Division -134th Infantry Regiment- Tank Company-vehicle number (the vehicle number was not legible).
